Ballerina on the Mezzanine

This is not just any sculpture. The stance, the poise, the attitude … wow, she is amazing. This sculpture was created by taking almost 100 plaster moulds from a principal ballerina in The Australian Ballet to painstakingly develop a full mould and finally create what you see today. The ballerina was Rachel Rawlins and she was with the Australian Ballet for some 20 years.
She now often likes dressing up for no reason at all!
