Polly Woodside provides a great outing for all the family. The ship launched in Belfast in 1885 and sailed 1.5 million km around the globe!
Visitors can take an interesting guided tour; including below the decks, view artefacts in the interactive gallery and watch a short film about life onboard the ship.
But if you’ve got small kids in tow … and can attend on the first Sunday of the month, then don’t miss ‘Pirate Day’!
Let your kids dress up like pirates, then head along to Polly Woodside to help search for hidden treasure, play pirate games and even scrub the decks!
Pirate Days are held on the first Sunday each month between 10am and 4pm.
The Polly Woodside is located at South Wharf next to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
