Travelling as a family especially with infants and toddlers can often make a parent break out in hives but when you find the right accommodation with the essentials, it can make a big difference to any parent’s sanity.

Space
Gone are the days when there was just the two of you to enjoy a beautiful hotel room. With kids in tow, space and lots of it is a must. Our one and two bedroom apartments offer the room for the extra little bodies and the extra luggage plus more.

Room to roll
Don’t wake up with a neck cramp or a foot in your mouth after sharing your bed with the little ones. Enjoy the room to roll if you want to in your king size bed when your little one (even up to teen size) sleep in the comfort of their own sofa bed. Because we have room, we can even add a rollaway bed and while most other hotels charge an additional $80 per night, we only charge $20 per night.

Yes, there’s more than a kettle
No you’re not on holidays to cook but having a kitchenette to make the odd small meals for fussy kids is a must for any family trip plus you can also save by dining in. For mothers with infants, having a kitchen to sterilise bottles and make formula takes the stress out of travelling with a newborn. Plus each kitchenette includes a microwave, some with stovetops, Nespresso coffee machine with 3 complimentary pods.

We are also located next door to IGA supermarket, which is handy to stock your fridge with drinks and snacks.

Pack light
Packing for a family trip doesn’t mean packing the whole wardrobe. Each room includes a washing machine/dryer for those messy accidents.

Bath time made easy
Bath time could not be easier with the shower over bath. For the little travellers, having a bath will fill them with comfort like they are at home. We also have bath mats to safeguard their slippery little bodies. There’s even bath ducks for some bath time fun.

It’s about Wine time
No we are not promoting wine for the kids but by the end of the day, we know every parent will enjoy a glass of wine or two. Book direct and enjoy 2 hours of complimentary wine on our mezzanine before the night routine starts. Kids won’t miss out, we have nibbles they can eat or head to our Guest Lounge for complimentary juices, pastries, sesame snaps, muesli bars and fruit.

Did we mention FREE Netflix and Wifi?

Take a break and let the kids watch their favourite show on Netflix. If you have your own tablets, we have unlimited wifi in all rooms and public spaces. You’re welcome parents 🙂

• 10 minute drop off on Queen Street. If arriving by car, use our 10 minute drop off spot to unload the car before driving to the parking station
• ToC is located on the free tram line making travelling around the CBD easy and inexpensive
• Our Collins Street location is within walking distance to the aquarium, National Gallery, IMAX theatre, Melbourne Museum, Harry Potter stage production at Princess theatre, ACMI or the botanical gardens
