Gluten Free Melbourne Restaurants and Cafes

These days Coeliacs can often find a gluten free option or two on the menu at most Melbourne restaurants and cafes. With most menus indicating with a little ‘GF’ or some other symbol, which items on their menu are suitable for gluten intolerant diners.

However the team over at The Urban List have come up with an awesome ‘Top 50 gluten-free meals in Melbourne’ that covers the best dishes, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, from all over the city.

Here’s a sample of the list from a few that caught our eye –

10. Supernormal in Melbourne City – Peanut Butter Parfait, Salted Caramel and Soft Chocolate. Enough said.

11. Gazi in Melbourne CBD – Duck Souva: Duck, chips, parsley, onion, pear and mustard mayo in a gluten-free wrap. Dare you to stop at one.

12. Portello Rosso in Melbourne CBD – Pork Belly: Part of the tapas menu, the slow roasted crispy skin pork belly over almond and garlic puree is sublime.

13. Mamasita in Melbourne CBD – Elote Callejero: ‘Streetstyle’ chargrilled corn, queso, chipotle mayo and lime. Arriba!
